Upcoming Professional Learning Events
These free sessions are facilitated by Digital Careers staff and suitable for primary and secondary educators teaching the Technologies curriculum, ICT or other related STEM classes. Sessions are recorded and a copy of the webinar, the slides and any links shared will be sent to registrants after the event.
Where relevant, a certificate of completion of 1 hour of Professional Learning aligned to AITSL Standards will also be provided. More information can be found once you select to register for the events below.
How to CyberTaipan – school teams and teacher coaches*
This interactive information session is designed to give Coaches an overview of the competition. We will discuss strategies and ideas on how best to support your teams and how to integrate the CyberTaipan learning modules into the classroom.

This interactive information session is designed for non-school teams and coaches (eg: ADF Cadets or YIWSA). It will give you an overview of the competition. We will discuss strategies and ideas on how best to support your teams and how to integrate the CyberTaipan learning modules into training sessions that you organise with your teams.

Authentic Learning with Engaging Data; Finding and utilising local data sources
This session will examine accurate and relevant real-world data sources that students can use for undertaking data-driven inquiry, developing their understanding of data and how they can identify, interrogate, and present data to create a picture of the real world.
